Scrapbook created in 1912 during Miss Selby's first year as a college student at Kirksville State Normal School (now Truman State University). June Selby created this album with photos clipped from Normal School publications, to which she added handwritten identification.

This collection contains a scrapbook of the Kirksville Boy Scouts from 1930-1935, which includes clippings of local Boy Scouts news, posters and programs for local Boy Scout events. The cover was created by J.F. Walker.

Also includes handwritten notes of local deaths. In a folder in the back of the scrapbook, there are a few memorial cards from local funeral homes in from 1943-1945.In some cases, there are handwritten notes about age and cemetery plots.

The majority are concerned with Kirksville and Adair County history, genealogies of Adair County families, and Mark Twain.

Scope and Contents Civil War diary of Lewis A. Willard, who settled in Kirksville, Missouri, and scrapbooks about his son Arthur Lee Willard, a Vice Admiral in the U.S. Navy. Lewis' daughter and Arthur's half sister, Louise Willard, was married to P.O. Selby, who curated six scrapbooks with ephemera from Vice Admiral Willard's life, including his graduation certificates, articles about his military success, and letters between him and his father, along with other family and friends.
