Letters, memos, telegrams, newspaper clippings, and photographs accumulated during Wat Arnold's terms as Representative in the House of Representatives, United State Congress (1943-1949). during which time he represented the interests of his constituents in the First District of Missouri (Adair, Clark, Daviess, Grundy, Knox, Lewis, Linn, Livingston, Macon, Marion, Mercer, Putnam, Schuyler, Scotland, Shelby, and Sullivan Counties). Subjects include radio station KIRX, flood control, the Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery, postal matters, elections, rural electrification administration, speeches, and more.
