Scope and Contents

In camp since Saturday morning; journey took him from Maryland, to Georgia, to Delafield, and then to Uncle Joseph's; colt started well but hurt his foot; expenses were $22.80; measles in camp; George's folk were all well; got to George's and had a sermon preached to him by a man from Baboo; commence drilling tomorrow; regiment is good for three years but does not know when he can leave; will write again soon.
