Scope and Contents
Photo album with photographs of early faculty and students of the Normal School. Dating from 1872-1875, it includes images of President Joseph Baldwin and early faculty members John R. Kirk and James Greenwood, to name a few. There are many other unidentified photographs as well, and further research on the item is needed.

This collection is organized into a single series - Photo Album, approximately 1872-1875.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The photo album was donated to the Special Collections Department in May 2017 by John R. Andrews, a 1984 graduate of Northeast Missouri State University. He purchased the album as part of continuing research on the history of the University.
Physical Description
Green cover with gold designs with broken bronze metal clasp; 6” x 8”. Photo album in fragile condition: binding broken, pages loose and unattached.
Processing Information
The photographs in the album are largely unidentified and remain in their original order; album has retained its original binding.
