Looking north from the Washington and Elson intersection, we see Bee-Hive Restaurant and Rice Mercantile, 101; Halladay Grocery, 103; Fout Drugs, 105; Eckert's Dry Goods, 107-111; Robert Clark Hardware, 117; Steer, Robinson and Co., 119; Willard Hotel, 121-123. G.F. Staff Merchant and Tailor is upstairs at 100 1/2. Eckert's banner for a "Special Clearing Sale" through Saturday, January 16 helped us date the album; the 16th was on a Saturday in 1897.
